Call For Papers --------------------- 7th IEEE International Symposium on Web Site Evolution (WSE2005) http://www.websiteevolution.org/2005/ Budapest, Hungary September 26, 2005 Co-located with the 21st IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM 2005) PRESENTATION Since its inception in 1999, the Web Site Evolution (WSE) series of events have provided a forum for researchers and practitioners to present original work on subjects related to the disciplined evolution of large-scale Web sites. As a one-day symposium WSE 2005 aims to bring together members of both the Software Maintenance & Evolution and Web Engineering communities and provide researcher and practitioners working in the areas of Web application design, development, maintenance and evolution with an environment to discuss results and exchange experiences about models, methods, techniques and technologies related to the above-mentioned areas. WSE 2005 will be held in Budapest, Hungary, on September 26 and is co-located with the 21st IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM 2005). ICSM is the community’s flagship event focused on the modernization of existing systems. The technical program of WSE 2005 will include invited talks, paper presentations, and discussion sessions. TOPICS Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to, the following aspects of Web-based application design, development, maintenance and evolution: * Models and methodologies * Tools, environments, and technologies * Documentation * Design and implementation * Costs and benefits estimation * Quality evaluation PAPER SUBMISSION Participants should submit a research paper or experience report, not exceeding 4000 words (8 pages using 10-point type), including figures and references. Submissions may be in Adobe Acrobat PDF, Microsoft Word, or Postscript formats and must be sent by Monday, June 27, 2005 (extended deadline) using the Cyberchair submission system reachable at the url http://wse2005.unile.it/submissions.html. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by July 15, 2005. Final versions of accepted papers are due on August 5, 2005. PROCEEDINGS As usual within the WSE series, proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press and will be subject to IEEE Copyright. Camera ready papers are expected to be produced with the author kits sent by IEEE Computer Society Press.
